Rundstrecke Siedelsbrunn

Large sections of the tour follow the route of the MTB marathon, which is organised annually in May by TV 02 Siedelsbrunn. The circular route is not too technically difficult, but requires a good level of fitness. The route starts at the "Hardberg" car park near the Siedelsbrunn community centre and leads through the village into the forest, which you do not leave for the next 25 kilometres. Shortly before the state border, you can refresh yourself at a spring near a clearing. If you miss this, the small hamlet of "Schönbrunn" is a good place to take a break. The subsequent descent offers some relaxation before an energy-sapping climb follows. The route alternates between uphill and downhill on trails and forest paths around the Kottenberg to the "Wolfsloch". A final ascent follows before the forest opens up the view of Siedelsbrunn and you reach the starting point through the village.
