This route follows the 150-kilometre route of the Odenwaldfahrt RTF (cycle tour), a traditional organised cycling event organised by Sportfreunde Rodgau. Designed exclusively for racing bikes, this tour represents a considerable endurance challenge. The route is almost entirely tarmac and takes cyclists from the relatively flat Main Valley into the middle of the Odenwald. Expect a very demanding, hilly profile with numerous steep climbs and fast descents. The difficulty is solely due to the length and the significant metres in altitude.
