Ritt durch das Lahntal

From Hof Waldblick, the route leads via Hofgut Alt Schwartenberg to the Lahn to Aumenau, where you can ride into the Lahn on horseback. In Aumenau, the tour crosses the Lahn and the tracks of the Lahntal railway and then follows the country road towards Münster for approx. 1.5 km. You reach Münster through woods and fields and, after crossing the village, ride past Lago Alfredo and Hof Waldeck to Hubertushof. Ride back north-east past Weyer to the Galgenberg council square, which offers a fantastic view of the Westerwald and the Taunus. In Villmar, the route then crosses the Lahn on the black marble bridge (technical monument). Here we recommend a detour (approx. 1 km, see signposts) to the Unica marble quarry, a natural and cultural monument. After activating one of the last call barriers, the tour then leads over the railway tracks and through fields, woods and meadows back to Wirbelau to the Waldblick farm. The two-day trail ride can be extended by 1-2 days through star rides: from Hubertushof to Stahlmühle near Münster (with refreshments available by prior arrangement) or/and from Hof Waldblick to Landgasthof Rudolph in Allendorf/Merenberg (refreshments available daily except Saturday lunchtime). All routes are suitable for bare hoofed riders, as the tour runs on largely natural paths. Several canter routes of 1 - 1.5 kilometres in length.
