The paths on this varied double loop offer wonderful views of the town of Eppstein with Eppstein Castle and the western Taunus. From the railway station, you walk southwards and parallel to the railway tracks to reach the Georg Sparwasser Temple and later the Burgvilla Bauer. You cross the Schwarzbach stream and the Müllerwiese meadow along the Fischbach stream. Along Staufenstraße, you now reach the forest and the Kaisertempel, which was built at the end of the 19th century. There is also a restaurant here where you can take a break. The route continues in an arc into the Fischbach valley and back to the village. Turn northwards and pass the Krekel Temple (where you can also take a break) to reach the Wellbach Valley. As there are occasional inclines to overcome, you should bring sturdy shoes.
