Popular mountain bike tour in the Bergstraße-Odenwald Geo-Nature Park, Hesse.
This route starts and ends at the municipal administration in Brensbach. Shortly after the village sports ground, you ride through a wonderfully dense forest and past the Hinterwaldteich pond and Eberhardtsbrünnchen fountain. The first short descent follows immediately afterwards. For a moment, you then have to cycle along roads and paved paths before you reach a really pleasant section of around 800 metres, which always follows the course of the Matzbach stream. Via Wallbach you reach the hamlet of Kilsbach, Wöllstein and finally the Wünschbach valley. Shortly after the Oberer Kainsbach cemetery (after turning right onto trail R7), one of the most magnificent viewpoints in the entire Gersprenztal valley awaits (a short stop to enjoy the view is highly recommended!). Via Nieder-Kainsbach you finally return to Brensbach.
