This is a very beautiful and scenic circular route that leads up to the Große Nalle. Close to the mountain there is also an idyllic, disused basalt quarry with a small lake. In the past, basalt was often quarried in the Rhön. After work ceased, the pits filled with water and are now basalt lakes, which are not always easy to find. A highlight of this lake is the stone ramp that leads right up to the water. Above the lake, there is also a magnificent view of the Rhön.
Attention! The path to the top of the mountain is steep, unmarked and partly secured by steel cables. Extreme caution is required here, as the rock faces descend steeply and are not secured!
