This route in the historical border triangle "Auf der großen Kuppe" combines the circular trail 02 - Grenzsteinweg Bad Orb with a detour to the Eisenberg. You pass many boundary stones from different eras (see information board), including panoramic views of Bad Orb and Wächtersbach. Although most of the boundary stone locations are also indicated by the trail markings, it is not so easy to discover all the boundary stones listed on the information board (so it's great for a search game with children). On the easternmost section, the path can be softened by groundwater, so sturdy footwear is recommended. Trail markings: black crossed-out circle on a yellow background.
