The archaeological hiking trail on the Dünsberg starts at the Krumbacher Kreuz car park. This snail-shaped route circles the entire Dünsberg, right up to the summit. This mountain is completely protected due to archaeological settlement finds, e.g. Celtic ramparts, and is therefore called the Mountain of the Celts. The walk through the completely wooded mountain is very refreshing, and the fresh air provides relaxation and a chance to slow down. Great views over the Giessen basin and as far as the Taunus can be enjoyed from the top of the Dünsturm tower, which, along with the second tower (TV tower), is a special landmark of this mountain. It is sometimes possible to stop for refreshments in the Dünsturm, otherwise in the half-timbered town of Fellingshausen.
