The trail leads past two mills on the Osterbach stream and across a deployment area of the Seven Years' War to Wilhelmshausen. There you will find St Mary's Basilica, a remarkable Romanesque church. Passing the Obermühle mill, the trail leads to Bronze Age burial mounds and onwards via a medieval castle complex back to Knickhagen.
