This beautiful route around the Schermützelsee lake begins in the northern part of Buckow. There is a bus stop here that allows to travel by public transport. The tour first leads south into Buckow Castle Park and then through the beautiful old town centre. Passing the Brecht-Weigel-Haus, the route finally enters the wooded area to the south-west of the town. There the route runs past the Weißer See lake and then around the shores of the Schermützelsee lake. There are numerous places to stop for refreshments in Buckow.
