Varied mountain bike tour in the Schlaubetal, Brandenburg.
This is a beautiful and crisp MTB or cross bike tour. Starting from Müllrose, the route leads to Lake Helene (with very sandy paths) and Lake Katja (on a hiking trail). However, both trails are mostly easy to ride. The route then continues partly on gravelled paths via the Friedrich Wilhelm Canal and the Oder-Spree Canal to Ragower Mühle. The rest of the route follows hiking trails through the inner Schlaubetal valley (watch out for mosquitoes!) back to Müllrose. Swimming gear, bath towel, sun cream and mosquito repellent are good travelling companions for this tour.
