Picturesque cycle tour through the Spreewald near Vetschau, Brandenburg.
The starting point for this route is the tourist information centre at Schlossstraße 10 in Vetschau/Spreewald. The route first leads towards Stradow - the 50-hectare area of the Stradow pond landscape is well worth seeing. The route continues via the "Radduscher Kaupen" (with its typical Spreewald architecture) to the Kossateich pond. Here you can observe ospreys, whooper swans and many other water birds. Along the Leineweberfließ (southern bypass) you reach the Radduscher Buschmühle, a listed former watermill dating back to 1777. The next stop is the Dubkow Mill, one of the oldest inns in the Spreewald. It is located directly on the main Spree and is a popular gastronomic destination. The route then continues towards Burg-Kolonie. On this section of the route, it is worth making a stop at the Schau-Handwerkshof with its farm café, the Conrad boathouse, the Jank family's Spreewald cidery or the "Kolonieschänke" organic inn. Take the cycle path along the Leineweberfließ towards Naundorf. On this stage, you can take a short break at the barefoot park (Kurfürstendamm).
