A beautiful circular route awaits hikers here, most of which runs along the circular route (yellow dot) around the Mellensee. It also follows the Boden-Geo-Pfad through the old clay pits. The Mellensee can only be seen briefly at the beginning of the tour, then the route moves away from it in a wide arc.
