Idyllic kayak tour in the Spreewald near Lübbenau, Brandenburg.
This tour can be reached by bus and train (Lübbenau/Spreewald railway station). For those travelling by car, there are parking facilities at the starting point. There are also refreshment stops in Lübbenau. The kayak tour is therefore ideal as a day trip from Berlin.
The water hiking trail starts in the north of Lübbenau. Kayaks can be hired for the tour at various boat hire centres (it is best to book in advance). The route then leads across numerous rivers through Lehde before making a large loop via the settlements of Wotschofska and Polenz-Schänke. There are a number of campsites along the route.
