This is the third stage of the almost 400 km long Havel Cycle Route, which follows the eponymous river from its source near Ankershagen to its mouth near Gnevsdorf and is one of the most beautiful river cycle routes in Germany.
The third stage of the Havel Cycle Route is around 66 kilometres long, starting in Oranienburg and ending in Potsdam. Nature in the form of idyllic bodies of water such as Wannsee and cultural highlights such as Sanssouci Palace balance each other out.
