A wonderful hike, which first leads away from Blankensee to the west and in an arc towards Körzin. From there it goes to the bird watching tower on the Pfefferfliess: here it is worthwhile putting in binoculars and letting your eyes wander all year round. In spring and autumn, migratory birds gather here, in summer waterfowl raise their young at Swan Lake and even ospreys breed here. Geese spend the winter at Blankensee. From the tower, the route leads to the eastern shore of Lake Blankensee, where there are some benches and a nice view of the lake from a hill.
