The route begins directly on the Teltow Canal at the level of the Berlin Wall Trail. Following this, the route runs along the green, overgrown bank. Crossing the Eugen Kleine Bridge, you pass the former Lichterfelde subcamp and continue along the other bank until you reach Steglitz City Park. A short loop is made here and then the route returns until you finally take the bridge back to the starting point directly at Teltow. There are refreshment stops along the route.
