Krumme Lake Grünau is a nature reserve and fen created by an ice-age channel to the south of Langer See. The trail starts at the forest car park and heads south-east through the wooded wetland. The beautiful alder forest, sedge meadows and reedbeds create an idyllic landscape. This recreational natural gem runs parallel to Dahme and the Lange See lake for some distance. It is possible to stop for refreshments at Hanff's Ruh.
The route can also be started from Richtershorn railway station. There is a refreshment stop right next door.
