The eighth stage of the Wiesengänger route is perfect for harmonising mind, body and soul with nature. Passing the Swabian Farm Museum, you hike from Illerbeuren over the historic Iller bridge and through Engelharz with its striking water tower. The hike leads through forests, across flowering meadows and through small stream valleys. You then hike via the Kalden castle ruins to the stage destination, Altusried.
