The twelfth stage of D-Route 9 leads from Burgsinn in the Spessart Nature Park along the Sinn to Gemünden am Main, where the Sinn flows into the Main. There are many reasons to stop off here, including Scherenburg, Storburg and Keltenburg castles, as well as numerous wineries. The route now continues along the Main via Karlstadt to the stage destination of Würzburg.
