From Baiersdorf, the route heads south via Weismain on the Niestener Straße into the very idyllic Bärental valley. The route leads along a paved and sometimes somewhat rough forest path, always slightly uphill, with views of a magical or fairytale world. As you will also encounter pedestrians, you should be considerate. At the end of the Bärental valley, the path turns westwards into an open forest and meadow landscape. At around kilometre 14 in Weiden, keep left and then right further down to reach a very beautiful entry point into Kleinziegental. Pass the Spitzenstein and head out again via Stadelhofen, Wolkendorf with a short but very steep descent to Steinfeld. (Caution: the gradient ends at the B 22). In Steinfeld, turn right, where you can enjoy a tasty snack and a tasty beer at the Hübner-Bräu brewery. The route continues steeply on a well-maintained farm track to Schederndorf, on a paved path through the forest to Mährenhüll, where you turn right and after about five kilometres of road you have a breathtaking second entrance and view of the Kleinziegental valley. Be careful with the hairpin bends, it goes downhill very well! Back in the Kleinziegental valley, it is advisable to leave the state road to the left before Schrammendorf in heavy traffic in order to reach the starting point of this really beautiful and eventful tour in Baiersdorf again on the LIF22 via Weismeins Zentrum. The route leads along paved paths, tarmac farm tracks and mostly little-used side roads in roughly equal parts. Gravel paths are the exception rather than the rule.
