The circular route leads from the historic Rothenburg market square through the upper Tauber valley with a viewpoint at Eckartshof to Gebsattel and back again. The hiking sign is a white 12 on a red sign.
Historical sights such as the Obere Walkmühle mill, which was once used to mill textiles and leather, and Gebsattel Castle await along the way. Take care when crossing the St419 state road! There are refreshment stops along the way.
The starting point can also be reached from Rothenburg ob der Tauber railway station.
