Dinkelsbühl's history dates back to at least the 12th century and its historic old town is still completely enclosed by the town wall. Three quarters of the houses here are over 350 years old - so a charming walk through bygone times awaits. There are small gardens, ponds and towers along the way and picturesque alleyways, cafés and restaurants in the town centre.
Start at the chargeable car park on the Inselweg. The railway station for Dinkelsbühl is on the other bank of the Wörnitz.
