Coastal Trail and Schützingerweg

This picturesque and relaxing circular route leads along the western shore of Lake Chiemsee near Chieming. The route connects the classic lakeside path with the Schützingerweg trail, which is located slightly inland, and runs almost exclusively on flat, well-maintained walking paths and paved trails. A central highlight is the unrestricted panoramic view across the "Bavarian Sea" to the Chiemgau Alps, in particular the striking Hochplatte and Hochgern mountains. The route is completely flat and ideal for a relaxing afternoon stroll, an easy bike ride or an outing with the whole family.
