The Staffelberg Steig does not lead over the eponymous Staffelberg, but explores the varied landscapes around the "Mountain of Franconia". Wonderful views from the high plateau, pretty little villages with historic half-timbered houses and the idyllic Döritz valley with its meadows and historic mills make for a varied hiking experience. From kilometre 10 onwards, the trail circles the Staffelberg nature reserve before coming to an end at the Horsdorf bus stop.
