Popular circular hiking trail in the Upper Bavarian Forest Nature Park, Bavaria.
The starting point for this hike is the market square in Stamsried. From the market square, walk in the direction of Schloßstraße, then along Blumenstraße and turn right into Waldheimstraße. Continue straight ahead (approx. 2 km) until you reach the second fork in the road. There you walk half right past the fountain cross to Unterdeschenried and Rannersdorf. At the bus stop, turn right in the direction of Stamsried. After approx. 2 km (please follow the signs), turn right into the forest to join hiking trail no. 71 (Mühlberg). Follow hiking trail no. 71 back to Stamsried.
