Nuremberg - Bamberg - Göttingen - Hanover

Epic bikepacking route from Nuremberg to Hanover. This route connects four major German cities and crosses hundreds of kilometres from Bavaria northwards to Lower Saxony. The challenge lies in the extreme endurance over several days. The route follows a series of exceptionally flat river cycle paths along the Regnitz, Main and Weser rivers. Although the terrain is gentle, the enormous distance is a major logistical and physical test. Culturally, the route is rich, passing through the UNESCO World Heritage city of Bamberg and the historic half-timbered town of Hannoversch Münden.
