Maitenbether Cloverleaf 4

Easy cycle tour on roads with little traffic and forest paths in the south of Maitenbeth. The tour starts at the church in Maitenbeth and leads in a southerly direction to the villages of Marsmeier, Tegernbach and Albaching. After about half the route, you reach Kalteneck, where a lovely beer garden invites you to stop for a bite to eat. The route continues through Kleinhaager Forst to Sankt Christoph. Here it is worth visiting the church of St Christopher, whose origins date back to the 14th century. The route finally leads back to Maitenbeth through Grosshaager Forst. The villages of Maitenbeth, Albaching and St. Christoph were the sites of the Battle of Hohenlinden in 1800. Information boards in the villages provide information about the event.
