Spring and autumn hike near Illschwang
From the Illschwang fairground, the route leads via the village square to the sports grounds in Pesensricht and over the Kestelberg back to Illschwang. You can combine this hike with circular route 4 (from signpost 6866 on the district road east of the Kestelberg).
The hike is particularly beautiful between spring and early autumn during the flowering season. The hiking trail leads along numerous hedge-lined forest edges. Silver thistle and many flowers line the path, which has many a botanical speciality to offer.
