Start is not far from the Happurg reservoir, it first goes north and past the Happurg concentration camp memorial. Then you walk in the direction of the Hunnenschlucht - a stop that is always popular with photographers. The path continues in a loop past the new quarry. It goes east, then south again to the Houbirg, which has a checkered history back to the Celts. Here you will also find bricked-up tunnels from the Second World War. The path continues to Förrenbach to get to the Happurg reservoir.
