A little-used route in the north-east of Glonn.
From the starting point in Adolf-Kolping-Strasse in Glonn, the route leads up to the Schießstätte inn, where there used to be a shooting range.
Here you have a marvellous view of the Kaiser Mountains.
After Eichtling, the route descends steeply to Brucker Moos and then climbs steeply to Cafe Bauer in Wildenholzen.
From there you walk through beautiful forest to the Sonnenhausen estate.
The estate used to be a stud farm and now serves as a conference hotel.
Shortly afterwards, you reach Zinneberg Castle.
The castle looks back on a long history with frequently changing owners.
Today, the Sisters of the Good Shepherd run a youth welfare centre there.
From the castle, it is only a few minutes downhill to the starting point.
If the weather is fine, it is advisable to do the tour in a clockwise direction, as this allows you to enjoy the mountain panorama better.
