This quite long hike leads around the city of Freising and its forest to the west. You start with a section on the Isar and get past the historic monastery garden into the wooded area around the village. Across fields and through forest sections, it goes to Burghausen and from there to the Weltwald Freising. A collection of trees from all over the world is presented here on one hundred hectares, there are themed trails and much to discover. In Freising there are numerous rest stops.
