Stage 5 of the long-distance hiking trail "Fränkischer Dünenweg", Bavaria.
This is the fifth and final stage of the long-distance hiking trail Franconian Dune Trail, which runs from Altdorf through the impressive dune landscapes of the Nuremberg countryside.
The fifth stage of the Franconian Dune Trail starts in Feucht and ends in Altdorf. Once again you can enjoy the unique sand terraces and dunes, this time in the Schwarzach valley. The Schwarzachklamm gorge is a particular highlight. Several old castles and fortresses round off the varied hiking experience. Overnight accommodation and refreshment stops are available. The route can be reached by bus and train.
