An den Ufern des Mains in Kitzingen

Beautiful river walk in Kitzingen. This beautiful route leads along both sides of the banks of the Main through Kitzingen. It starts not far from the Old Main Bridge. The route first heads south, past the Old Synagogue and the Mainkai. The river is crossed via the Konrad Adenauer Bridge and then the route continues northwards. Close to the Mondsee Island, you reach the garden show grounds with the Winterhafendamm viewpoint. The route then crosses the Main again at the Nordbrücke bridge and returns to the starting point. In good weather, it is worth visiting the Mondsee Island, where there is a beautifully designed outdoor pool with a diving tower and playgrounds. Finally, you return to the starting point through the beautiful old town centre of Kitzingen. There are several places to stop for refreshments along the way. Kitzingen can be reached by train.
