RTF Across the Holledau - Route 156

Official route of the RTF. This challenging cycle tour, or RTF for short, requires considerable stamina and training to complete the approximately 156 kilometre route through the picturesque Holledau region. The Holledau is known as the largest contiguous hop-growing region in the world and is located in Bavaria. The route leads over rolling hills and moderate undulations. Although the route is tarmac throughout and well signposted during the event, the sheer distance and sustained, energy-sapping climbs are a challenge for fit riders. This long day in the saddle rewards cyclists with beautiful scenery, past endless fields of the green gold that makes this part of Bavaria famous.
