Würm-Enztal RTF – Tour A Plus

This extensive road bike tour explores the picturesque river valleys of the Würm and Enz on the northern edge of the Black Forest. Starting in the Pforzheim region, the route leads through a hilly landscape with orchards, vineyards and dense forests. The terrain is characterised by constant metres of elevation gain and crisp climbs that offer panoramic views over the Heckengäu. The route runs through historic villages with traditional half-timbered houses that reflect the rich cultural heritage of Baden-Württemberg. The route follows well-maintained side roads and tarmac cycle paths, which makes for a smooth but physically demanding ride. As an "A Plus" variant, the tour is designed to test the limits of experienced cyclists through cumulative climbs. It offers a great opportunity to experience the transition from the golden fields of the Kraichgau to the deep green ridges of the Black Forest.
