Wonderful, idyllic circular hike in the Black Forest, Baden-Württemberg.
This enchanting circular trail will delight you with the wild and romantic idyll of the forest typical of the Black Forest and offers wonderful views of the landscape time and again. The route leads from Ruhestein on natural forest paths along the Wildsee, around the Kapellenbuckel and over the Seekopf back to the starting point. At the starting point, there is parking at the Ruhestein National Park Centre and a bus also goes there. There are restaurants and WCs here and after 6 kilometres of hiking, the Darmstädter Hütte is also open for refreshments between May and October (no closing day).
