This route, characterised by breathtaking nature, leads through the Black Forest National Park. The first half is fairly constant uphill, but the way back is downhill. A very special highlight is the Mummelsee lake, above whose northern shore the highest mountain in the northern Black Forest - the 1164 metre-high Hornisgrinde - towers majestically. There are also idyllic, narrow paths and plenty of unspoilt nature. There are refreshment stops in the villages along the route.
