Challenging road bike route between the Black Forest and Basel
This is a scenically beautiful but very demanding road bike tour in the border region between France, Germany and Switzerland. The route suggested here from Schönau in the Black Forest to Basel follows the course of the famous "Belchen³" cycle race in parts, but only passes one of the infamous "Drei Belchen".
There are places to stay overnight and stop for refreshments. You pass several railway stations, so the route can be shortened if necessary.
