Road Bike: Tour de Baroque

This is the race track of the Tour-De-Barock (formerly the Paul Blersch Trophy). This demanding road bike route leads through the picturesque region of Upper Swabia in Baden-Württemberg. The challenge lies above all in the extreme endurance required for the long distance and the numerous climbs. The famous Paul Blersch Trophy route, which covers 190 kilometres and over 2,551 metres in altitude, is the ultimate test of endurance. It follows the training routes of former professional cyclist Rolf Gölz. Cycle through the hilly hinterland of Lake Constance and pass historic towns and magnificent baroque churches and monasteries, such as the one in Bad Schussenried. Expect low-traffic but winding roads and strenuous climbs that require a good level of fitness.
