Schopfheim - Wehr - along the Wehra to Ölfingen - up through the forest to the mountain lake at an altitude of 400m and down to Bad Säckingen - over the bridge to Stein and from Wallbach for 15km over rough forest roads to Rheinfelden. Briefly over the German side, then back onto Swiss terrain from the Warmbach border crossing. Past the chemical factories and through quiet Kaiseraugst. Cross the Rhine again at the power station to Germany. One last time on Swiss soil (Riehen) along the meadow until you reach Lörrach.
