Panoramic circular route of the Hegauer Kegelspiel, Baden-Württemberg
This route is a certified premium hiking trail that enchants with fantastic views of the Hegau region and as far as Lake Constance. The Stetten Panorama Trail takes hikers to the summit of the highest Hegau volcano, the 867-metre-high "Neuhewen", where they will find the castle of the same name. This highest castle complex in the Hegau is also known locally as "Stettener Schlössle" and is unfortunately not open to the public for security reasons. You can get here by bus and train (bus from Engen-Stetten station) and there are refreshment stops right at the starting point. If you prefer to bring your own provisions, you can take a break at the idyllic barbecue area at the playground on the Südtraufweg.
