The starting point is the P40 car park in Bad Urach-Seeburg (if travelling by bus or train: bus stop "Seeburg Rathaus"). From here, you hike through tranquil forests, idyllic juniper meadows and wildly romantic gorges, which are protected as the Urach Valley Spider FFH area, the Swabian Alb biosphere reserve and the Central Swabian Alb bird sanctuary. From the Hartberg, there is a truly marvellous view of the picturesque landscapes. There are places to stop for refreshments.
