This route is a certified premium hiking trail and it is the longest and most challenging of the Bodensee LandGang trails. The landscape is extremely varied and changes frequently between forest and open fields. The route also offers impressive views of Lake Constance and the Alps.
The trail is very well signposted and follows the "Bodensee Landgänge" markings. There are opportunities for refreshments in Limpach, Rubacker and Obersiggingen.
The trail is partly on narrow ridge paths. Sturdy shoes, some provisions and hiking poles are recommended as hiking equipment.
