Leimbachroute - Bhf. Hoffenheim bis Rhein bei Brühl

The Leimbachroute is a 46 km long leisure route from Sinsheim-Hoffenheim railway station to Brühl am Rhein. As a water adventure route, the Leimbachroute invites the public to experience the Leimbach from its source to its mouth by bike, on foot or as part of a mobility network. As a local history discovery route, the Leimbachroute invites you to discover special local history sites along the way. The project was awarded first prize in 2012 by the Rhine-Neckar Region Association as part of the "Landscape on the Move" competition. The route logo was found as part of the school competition "A logo for the Leimbach Route". In addition, information boards about the overall route and later also about the special places will be erected along the route. It will be available free of charge to all citizens in the town halls of the municipalities until the route is opened. The "Leimbachroute" is an inter-municipal leisure and tourism project of the municipalities of Sinsheim, Dielheim, Wiesloch, Nußloch, Leimen, Sandhausen, Oftersheim, Schwetzingen, Ketsch and Brühl together with the Heidelberg-Mannheim Neighbourhood Association (project coordinator).
