Stage 6 of the "Kocher-Jagst-Radweg" long-distance cycle route, Baden-Württemberg.
This is the sixth and final stage of the varied Kocher-Jagst Cycle Route, which follows the courses of the Kocher and Jagst rivers in a marvellous, approximately 340 km long circular tour.
The sixth stage begins in Crailsheim, from where the route leads through the Ostalb back to the starting point in Aalen.
The Kocher-Jagst cycle route once again presents itself from its most beautiful side: In around six and a half hours, you cycle through the upper Jagst valley, the rolling hills of the Keuperbergland, the picturesque Ellwanger Seenland and, incidentally, the Alb plateau between Lauchheim and Aalen. With an imposing pilgrimage church, a castle and the beautiful old town of Ellwangen, culture lovers will also get their money's worth.
The starting and finishing points can be reached by bus and train and there are places to stay overnight and stop for refreshments.
