This circular hiking trail is an exciting hike: it combines an experience of nature with cultural and historical sights. It starts at the Kirnachmühle mill with its herb garden and Kneipp water treading pool. The route continues through the cabbage forest, the Salvest game reserve and to the Kirnegg castle ruins. From here you can enjoy marvellous views of the surrounding countryside. The route then continues to the Maria Tann monastery complex, the Musikwerk building and past the neo-Gothic church of St Jakobus before continuing along the valley lake to the starting point.
