Scenic long-distance stage in the Stromberg-Heuchelberg Nature Park, Baden-Württemberg
This is the first of two stages of the historic long-distance hiking trail Eppinger-Linien-Weges (certified as a Wanderbares Deutschland quality trail), which runs 40 kilometres from Eppingen to Mühlacker. The route suggested here runs along marvellous paths past some great viewpoints once through the Hartwald forest from Eppingen to Sternenfels. There are refreshment stops along the way. Accessible by bus and train (start: Eppingen railway station, finish: Sternenfels town hall stop).
