Dettingen - Teckberg - Gutenberg

The Lenninger Valley offers a multitude of beautiful trails that make the biker's heart beat faster. With a balanced uphill/downhill ratio, this tour presents four of the most beautiful. But there are not only sporting highlights, there are also plenty of scenic attractions. There are always breathtaking views down into the valley. The tour starts at the Schlossberghalle in Dettingen unter Teck. Cycle past the traffic education centre on the cycle path towards Owen. Cycle through Owen, past the historic St Bernard's Chapel and over the Hörnle to just below Teck Castle. (A detour there is definitely worthwhile.) Then you cycle along the Trauf to the Yellow Rock, from where you have a great view. This is followed by the first, sometimes technically challenging trail up to the Sattelbogen. From there, you cycle uphill again to the Engelhof and on to the Wielandsteinen. The second trail begins there and leads to Oberlenningen. Once again, the route climbs via the old Oberlenninger Steige (almost car-free and asphalted). Once at the top, the tour continues along the tarmac road to Krebsstein. Here it is worth making a detour to the Wasserfels with its breathtaking panorama before descending to Gutenberg via the third trail. From Gutenberg, the tour heads towards the small village of Schlattstall. From there, a steep hiking trail leads up to Grabenstetten and over the plateau to Konradsfels. The fourth trail then ends back in Oberlenningen. The tour ends with a leisurely roll-out through the villages of the Lenninger Valley to the car park at the Schlossberghalle.
