This circular route leads to one of the most beautiful castle ruins in southern Germany. Enchantingly situated at the confluence of the Main and Taube rivers, marvellous views from the castle restaurant can be cauht. The start and end point is on the Main.
This hike can be reached by bus and train (Wertheim railway station). For those travelling by car, there are parking facilities in Wertheim. There are also refreshment stops in Wertheim. The route is therefore ideal as a day trip from Frankfurt (Main).
